Naming Ceremonies

The purpose of a 'Naming Ceremony' is not only to name a little baby, but to officially welcome this new baby into the family and into the world. Family and friends will make promises to the baby and vows will be made. Bubbles will be blown, (or drunk), and speeches will be made.

My job is to work with the family to create a ceremony of meaning, substance and inclusiveness. It is a time of happiness, warmth and joy, but also a commitment by family and friends to ensure ongoing care and responsibility.
